Inspired by a visit to a local cat café, where rescued cats mingle with guests while waiting for their forever homes. Watching their playful personalities brought back memories of the cats I grew up with and still miss today. For now, my birds have vetoed any plans of adopting one, so I enjoy keeping cats close through my artwork instead. Before I moved to New Zealand and became a bird mum, my world revolved around dogs and cats.
